Growing takes more focus than you think!!

I’ve literally had to get my head wrapped around how difficult it is to grow.  Obscurity is presented in your mind’s eye when people don’t believe in what you do, we’ve seen witnessed others take this position so many times, and we’ve been forced to work through it with adversity.  This can easily take your mind off of the most important thing and that’s the growth of the company and focusing on those things that are most valuable to it.

You know, things like strengthening the team, positive promotion, staying focused on the game plan, day-to-day process and functionality, trusting the process, staying on the people grid of relevance, and many other day to day, month month, and quarter to quarter focuses that we have to do as a company.  Simply staying afloat and staying relevant, and earning money along the way.

Even in the midst of all of that, we have to step back and take a look at all the growth that we are currently doing and keep our focus on what we plan to do in the near future.  So it brings me to where we are today, we’ve had a strong focus on productivity and trying to accommodate the people on board, especially those having trouble trusting the process, which has pulled our focus from many of our growth process plans, that take a lot of vision and time to accomplish and create.

As I reflect on the things that we are doing and making happen right now, the future looks extremely bright for us.  When you can take your mind off the failures, mistakes, and distractions, and see them as part of the growth process, you win.  I’m happy and thankful to be able to say that we’re looking at things unfold as we speak:

  1. We’re closing ground on a new office location, with fantastic space that will allow us to be able to really focus on production and still do some of our daily functions.
  2. We have finally established our licensing site and publishing site which is more for the market of licensing opportunities for Touch Music Group, as well as every member signed.
  3. Our t-shirt division where we’ve founded and established better product that relates to our company better.
  4. We have a new branding that we’ve added to our production process, we’ve always believed that UCAS Touch Production was how we focused on collaboration, but we often would get lost in the details, now our focus is very direct and UCAS Music will have and cover a more dynamic and supportive and distinctive brand.  This will be a product exclusively made for the artist and producers on the team.

All in all, at the end of the day, the ownership team can say, Growth has been our mainstay, even when we can’t see it.  It just has not always been the main focus.  Sometimes you can get so wrapped up in people that you miss your goal, and the moral of the story is you have to have supportive trusting people and move forward with them, even if they don’t stay with you.
