Tarrance Phillips, a native of South Carolina was born and raised in Charleston S.C.; the oldest of three children, Tarrance Phillips began at an early age participating in church and school choirs, and many local talent events.  In school from kindergarten to high school, he was always involved in chorus or performing arts.

Tarrance entered many talent shows and contests over the years, some of which he won, but he never stopped pursuing his dream of becoming a singer.  His musical influences come from Pop, R&B, Country and Gospel, and his singing inspirations come from legendary artists like: Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Luther Vandross, Sam Cooke, John P. Kee, Andre Crouch, Shirley Caesar, Fred Hammond, country artist and musicians Ronnie Milsap and Kenny Rodgers just to name a few.

His greatest influence in his life is his mother, she has been and still is his greatest influence, she too was a singer of gospel music and when she sang in church Tarrance and his sisters would sing as her backup.  Later, Tarrance began writing his own songs and performing them where he could.  Tarrance was fortunate to open up for such artists like: Rapper Coolio, and R&B group Jodeci.

Tarrance’s Testimony: It was February 23, 1997 when Tarrance accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.  With a passionate heart for music it was then that God began to give him life changing songs that minister, encourage and uplift others.  His motivation and inspiration is inspired by people and the passion he has about seeing the lives of others changed, he believes that there are far too many souls being lost that need to be saved.
