Z-Ethel Nwobo’s music background is gospel.  She has been a worship leader as an individual and as part of a choir or worship group for nearly 20 years both in Nigeria and Ireland.  Zethel has ministered and performed in concerts, crusades and conventions, and has seen the lives of people ministered to transformed.

Zethel say’s, “her inspiration for composing her songs is drawn from her experience through personal relationship with God and the understanding of his gift and his grace upon her life.”  This has lead her to a better understanding of the purpose of the gift, to Touch people with messages of Joy, inspiration and salvation.

Her passion is worship to God and leading people to a place of intimate praise and worship.  Ethel say’s “I am also inspired by my everyday experience of life and the beauty of nature that God has surrounded us with.”  Ethel has been greatly influenced by many international gospel music artist such as; Panam Percy Paul, the foremost African gospel artist who  has mentored me over the years.  Other artist that have influenced me include; Cece Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Israel Houghton, Darlene Zschech, Yolanda Adams and Juanita Byrnum to mention a few.  Some worship group influences are; Hillsong worship, Jesus Culture, Planet Shakers and Lakewood choir.

Performance History

Zethel has performed or ministered in concerts and crusades as well as her home church, Victory Church in Dublin.  A more recent performance on the 25th of March 2018 and 8th of July 2018.  She is looking forward to performing in some churches here in Ireland and at a number of conventions in Ireland and in Nigeria in the later part of the 2019.
